Usually how it goes.
Choices here are Pet Co and PetSmart.
*eye roll*
Absolutely! You’re right as rain. No inferior “vets” for
my cats, and no inferior doctors for me or Bryan, either.
I think you’ve posted several pics of her. And I know you will miss her very much.
Birds are fun! I’ve had parakeets and canaries, but my favorite is the canary. The males have such beautiful songs!
I promise you will enjoy whatever kind of bird you get.
I have gotten birds from Petco and PetSmart, and the birds are young and healthy when you get them. They have their own vets and the birds are guaranteed to be healthy or you get your money back or an exchange.
I have had quite a few parakeets that I got as rescues, but there is no guarantee on these, and you need to be careful. However, once you learn enough about the care and feeding of parakeets, they will reward you with song, speech and tricks!
Think about it! They do fine if left by themselves overnight, or even as long as a week, because they are foragers. Just make sure they have plenty of food and water and they will care for themselves while you are gone. I promise!

I love Nevada!
Glad Bobbie is back at HQ, that must be a load off your mind.
Giving a Cat medication....this is where all your years of training will come in handy.
Hope you are as in good a condition..? (((Hugs)))
Is that lawn peg in NZ? Per chance.
Tom the Son wasn’t in the hospital or anything - just in South Carolina hanging out with his friends.
Could be...I just swiped without attribution.
They do a lot of that nap of the earth stuff down there? Sod stretching for little hobbit barrows?
The picture tripped a memory.
“......Located in a park in Wellington”
Probably just noise. :)
I’m taking advantage of the fact that there is no thunder nearby, and I’m heading off to LaLa Land.
I would like some Pink Drink and some pretzels, but I seem to be out of both. I believe I have enough gelt to get one of each, but it means dipping into my laundry money. Or my food money. My life is full of choices like this.
*sigh*
Perhaps nine or ten games of Solitaire will help me sleep...
:)
Night ,face.
Photo Intel:
Designed by Turkish artist Mehmet Ali Uysal. this unusual clothespin sculpture which adorns the Chaudfontaine park in the outskirts of Liege, Belgium was especially implemented as part of the Festival of the Five Seasons in 2010. The giant clipper appears to be holding on tightly to a mold of land and grass, its original appearance attracting the attention and curiosity of cyclists and various travelers passing by.
Perhaps you spotted it there. Touring FNL factory store maybe?
Saw some photos of the Las Vegas storm on. Chinese web site. Hope you have a peaceful night.
Thanks for the data, Covenantor.
I think the picture came up during a freepathon a few years ago and had become entangled with other things in the old suede.
Have been through Belguim twice, at night. Yeah, don’t ask. :)
Hope you have a good night!
Thank you, dear Moose, we are very pleased to have her back here as well. She is doing
all right, and Bryan is a master at giving medicine to cats. He had them ‘way before I ever
got one (our first cat who arrived off the street in 1982).
