Agreed. The prosecutor in this case is all worked up, and says it's a very obvious case of murder. But the cop says he was dragged by the car. That would make the shooting self-defense.
The video I saw supports neither theory. Maybe some versions of the video that are floating around have been edited?
I just watching the video as well. The guy was obviously trying to take off. The officer pulled his weapon as it looked like he was going to be run over (as he immediately said after turning the vehicle off).
I feel for the man killed - if he just had his drivers license on him all that would have been avoided.
And handing the officer a bottle of gin? (even it did have pee, or whatever in it)... STUPID.
