He thinks he did, that's he said he'd pick RUBIO. A true conservative's dream choice: Rubio.

To prove how you Cruz supporters LIE about other candidates, here is the full quote:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says that the suggestion he hears most often about who he should choose as his running mate, if he wins the GOP nomination for president, is Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

"I like Marco a lot," Walker said in an interview on CNN's "Politics Outside with Insiders" with host S.E. Cupp. "I certainly agree with him a lot on national defense issues."

The Republican said he has had several people say that he should pick Rubio, if he ends up being the nominee. "Of people who have made suggestions to me, that is probably 90-10 the suggestion people make," he said.

This isn't the first time it's been suggested that the duo should join forces.

In an interview with Bloomberg Politics in June, Walker made similar comments, saying that several "supporters, donors and others" have also made the Rubio suggestion.

"For now, you know, Marco is a quality candidate," Walker told Bloomberg before he announced his candidacy. "He's going to be formidable in this race as things progress. And if we were to get in, we'd be as well, and we'll see where things take us."

The Wisconsin Republican added that while he typically likes governors for presidents and vice presidents, he thinks Rubio stands out.

Missed a quote:

Walker said he and Rubio often hear the suggestion that they should combine forces, potentially even before the first nomination voting in Iowa in February 2016, as a way to stand out amid a crowded field. "We'd just probably have to arm-wrestle over who would be at the top of the ticket," he said.

Walker/Rubio or Rubio/Walker. Take your pick "real" conservatives! Start betting on that arm wrestle!
