When we were living in Texas Blue Bell was our ice cream of choice. Later on, when we found it in a Kentucky store while on vacation, we were really disappointed. I’d assume what we bought was a half gallon that had been in the store freezer a bit too long and gone “stale”. But now living back up in the north midwest we have found Edy’s to be the best thing going since those halcyon days of Texas and fresh Blue Bell.

Blue Bell is now full of corn syrup and other crud. It’s a case of a classic brand cheaping out on ingredients to save money.
