Okay folks break out all your innuendos, insinuations and/or outright insults. This may not qualify as a deathbed statement, but I’m so old and sick it should be.
I’ve seen a “Bigfoot!”
Several years ago I was trying to sight in a rifle in the mountains of northern Oregon. I had a target set up and was getting into position to fire a set of prone shots when I heard an odd squeal from behind me. I had on a set of earmuffs to protect my ears but the sound came through anyway. My first thought was “that’s the strangest elk call I’ve ever heard.” I rolled over a bit and looked in the direction the sound had come from and saw a humanoid figure about 7 feet tall standing fifty feet away. It looked at me then down the road I driven in on, then back at me. I couldn’t see any external genitalia but it acted male. We stared at each other for a few moments then it made another short sound and disappeared into the brush. I cannot know for certain, but I believe it had family nearby and was concerned for their safety.
After he was gone, I gave up any effort to hold my rifle steadily and went home. I did look at the brush where he had passed by and found no tell-tale tufts of hair nor were there any footprints - only my racing heart. As I drove down the mountain I reflected on the fact that - had he had any intention of harming me - I would never have known what had hit me. Ergo, he was a peaceful being.
So you saw Bigfoot too, and didn’t take a picture. Why don’t you go back to that spot and put up a game camera. You could be famous!
Interesting.
Never seen one for sure - But I've cut track and sign... And had one very wild experience in the back country that could be no other thing.
I believe you, because I know they're there.
I don’t believe that I believe, mainly because somebody would have shot one or game cameras would show good pics. I work in the mountains daily and have seen nothing unexplained. However, I know a few people who have seen them and you will never meet someone with less doubt than one who had a sighting. It made one guy about half ringy, the other just took it for what it was. When I see one, I will believe.
