I would love for Trump to be barred from the debates. Then if Cruz and Walker and maybe Carson backed out the Republicans-damaging farce could be ashcanned finally.
Trump is way ahead of these guys. The reason he is refusing to rule out third party is to keep them from treating him unfairly.
IMO the GOP and the Dems should fear a Trump third party. He’s likely to take a large enough segment of voters from both parties to win.
If they can’t stand up to The Donald and handle him, how are they going to deal with Putin and Hominy Grits?
Bottom line: GOPe would rather have any Democrat win in 2016 than Republican Trump. How childish is that? How is that not selling us down the river?
How much power do we “little people” have over the RNC decisions about debates, etc.? We could stop donating, but most of us have done that already.

differently would not be a smart idea if the gop tried this........they would lose a lot of people who would just say the hell with it and not go out and vote if one of those 3 won the primary
