“If his claims are correct...”
They’re not, so don’t worry yourself.
Stop and think for a second how prideful one has to be in order to insist that your country is so important that God’s plan must revolve around it, and then to go reinterpret perfectly sensible Scriptures in order to make that work. Anybody who would think that is reasonable is nobody to trust on spiritual matters.
As for the claims he makes, it is easy to blow holes in them. If “Israel” (America) is invaded from the North, then this identification would mean that Gog and Magog would have to be Canada. I suppose anything is possible, but that is so silly an interpretation as to make the rest of it not worth bothering with.
bttt
Bad ‘prophecy’ teacher Jack van Impe had Russian missiles coming over the North Pole as an “invasion from the north”.
He still puts out a mixed bag of nonsense. Mostly nonsense especially with a denominational twist. About 15% to 25% on a good day is about all that’s valid.
Sometimes they have good news articles. After that.....it’s pretty difficult to watch.
Well, there was Joseph Smith and his followers having Jesus as Adam returning to Adam-Ondi-Ahman up near Gallatin, Missouri, Jesus returning to Independence, Missouri and some holding Salt Lake City as a city of significance. And since there was no real ‘Nauvoo’ they created one in Illinois. Technically, I guess the Mormons bought it and renamed it.
(speaking of false prophecies attributed to America)
