I would normally say no, but the Donald is a different breed.
He WILL get a lot of the black votes - regardless of what party he runs for. A lot of them love him. They love the bling. They love success and excess.

Considering that Trump can pull in 10% more of both voting blocks than any R candidate on his own, it could work when coupled with pissed off white guys.
That black man whose beautiful, talented son who was shot down by an illegal, may very well help Trump with the black vote. He said he had black, liberal friends call him and said they are for Trump. Donald gave him a platform to tell his story and exhibited true empathy for the man’s loss. Donald lost his own brother, Fred to alcoholism, so, he knows the pain of losing a loved one. I think the establishment minions are going to be shocked when he continues to surge in the polls.
Pissed off white guys.
That’s becoming a huge demographic. I should know since I’m smack in the middle of it.
Trump is getting just about all of us who are absolutely sick of politicians.
