BTW, when I say inexpensive...I mean comparatively. It’s still out of my price range, but I may start saving for one.

Has the ammunition been banned or all purchased by the regime yet?

That will be labeled as evil, extraordinarily deadly, and is something no one, except military snipers have any business possessing. Anti gunners will wet their pants.

I’d be curious to know how it shoots at 600 yds +. Pretty much any $400 bargain rifle with a cheap scope will give you 1” groups at 100 yds.

I’m a satisfied Ruger customer of long standing, owning a 9mm pistol and a .22 rifle. But $1400 is a bit rich for my blood.

I’ll take one in REM. 260.

They will make their money on the bling. I think the 10-22 has more bling available for purchase after the sale then any other platform.

Ah, yes. The black scary looking assault bolt action rifle. Let’s hyperventilate heavily and try to ban the evil looking thing immediately!!

Damned Ruger! Just about the time I think I don’t need any more guns they come out with something (AGAIN!) that makes me question that decision. And this one has 5R rifling too. It’s going to be a tack driver.

Go to Ruger’s site and open the exploded drawings of this rifle. It is essentially their American Rifle in a factory Chassis/stock, albeit a very adaptable and adjustable stock. Appears that the trigger assembly and the bolt and receiver are straight out of the American Rifle. This is basically a $350 rifle in a $1000 stock. The regular American is MUCH cheaper and shoots just as well in my experience.
