ARF!
My shooting pal has a few and he’s got a decent slug of engineering geek in him. He took one and sawed the butt off about 1/3 of the way in, and then drilled it out and embedded an adjustable spring piston recoil damper in it that he cobbed together. I haven’t shot it personally, but it apparently worked really well.
