The Kubrick holds up just fine. And it’s intentionally funny and satirical. Just nothing like that novel.

I had read the book almost 40 years ago, and just attempted the movie recently. The movie was a real disappointment, and boring.

OMG!

Well, we all grow old and unattractive to anyone but our youngest grands and great-grands.

In their innocence, they believe that Gran/Great-Gran is gorgeous.

That’s why I love them so. They see the inner beauty.
