CBS this morning had a segment devoted to (soon to be fired) Major Garrett's intolerant questioning of POTUS.
In the Segment, Charlie Rose was upset and aske Garrett if he would like to take make his question as clearly it was way out of line with the networks approach to throw softballs.
Garrett, sweating under the krieg lights said no, he asks tough questions becuase it's his job, to which Rose sneered in disapproval.
Then Gayle snipped, well did you get the answer you wanted. Garrett responded, that's not up to him, it's up to the American people - to which the disgusted hosts ended the interview feely satisfied they dressed down Garrett and set him up to be fired.
Were they “women” women or women with penises? Apparently they are one and the same now.
Liberal heads are exploding, Charlie had smoke coming out his ears.
No doubt, Garrett should ask Hillary if Jenner's donation is classified as coming from a woman or man.
CBS was once the gold standard in broadcast news.
It was a long time ago...
what the hell is a “charlie rose”?
is that like a charlie horse?
Right. It is not new
Dan Rather & Richard Nixon during Watergate
Sam Donelson & Ronald Reagan in the Rose Garden
Dan & Sam were praised at the time. Such courage!
And Charlie Rose wants to know if Garrett wants to take it back? Funny in a pathetic sort of way.
And Bush shredded him for it, in one of the most epic takedowns of a reporter ever. Pity H.W. was not as tough with George Mitchell.
The answer HE wanted, because of course no REAL Americans would want to know why Obama abandoned our hostages or screwed his own Joint Chiefs by leaving Iran's ICBM program intact.
I still would have liked him to retort back and say his question was unanswered, given Bozo’s past ‘we don’t leave Americans behind’ B.S.
Course, that would take courage and, more than likely, be an instant pink slip.
Exactly, but Gayle doesn't think at that level.
