How does a seven-month-old “get caught in the middle of a dog fight.”
I’ve never seen a seven-month-old take so much as a single step by herself.
Yep.
Ping
Ah. A quick perusal of the article sheds just a little light on the subject, in a manner of speaking.
One of the dogs was owned by Mom, the other by Mom’s Boyfriend.
The two dogs got left together in the living room, and the little one somehow “got drawn into” a conflict between the two pooches.
Mom and boyfriend were temporarily detained elsewhere in the domicile, and so were unable to intervene for a period of time.
Certain aspects of the scene now come into focus for me, I don’t know about you.
This has to be white trash...not many ghetto rats in Chardon.
Mom was either ridin dirty and/or doing meth with her man.
My prayers for the child.
Awful. Disgusting.
Dunno about the area, but been around white trash many years ago, your scenario sounds likely. Back then they were just plain drunk.
Yeah, life was much simpler back then.
I’t odd that human’s always want to get their dogs together so the doggy’s can play and romp. It probably makes humans feel better about themselves.
I guess no one ever told them not all doggy’s get along. Especially doggy’s that don’t live together, as in this case.
Thanks for your dispassionate analysis of the scenario.
However, a few more details would be helpful.
Age and occupation of the mother? 45? Unemployed? Age and occupation of the "boyfriend?" 19? Just released from prison?
Breed of the dogs?Rottweilers?
Regards,
Your questions are reasonable, but alas are outside the scope of information that is currently available to me, situated as I am approximately 320 miles from Chardon Ohio and it’s environs.
Come on, the weather is nice, take the drive.

That “mom and dad” are irresponsible fecking idiots??
What were they “doing”?
Drugs or each other?
Gaaah!
Poor baby.
Seriously.
A strange dog coming here would be considered an interloper and a threat.
