I don’t know. Maybe it is God’s way of punctuating the drought in California — like saying, see what you are missing.

Look for California Dims to push for inclement redistribution.

Send it to Washington State. We are desperately in need of water right now -— everything is so dry, on both the West and East side of the mountains.

A history lesson from a 70 year resident of southern Ohio: I have seen this before.
There are technical explanations on the Weather Service webpage of the daily forecast under “Forecast discussion”. Basically, cold fronts are stalling out, allowing surface lows to slide along the front bringing plenty of rain. Some years it’s snow, but this isn’t all that unusual. Sometime during the spring, we get a thirty day stretch that is more rain than sun. This year it’s a bit late.
The year I remember most vividly would be 1965 or 66. My best friend was getting married on May 31st. It rained everyday in May that year, except for two; the day of her bridal shower, and the day of her wedding.

ohhh...ohhh...

I got another one..

fubo grabbed bush’s weather machine ( you know the one that caused Katrina) and stuck it in Chicago to punish Wisconsin and Michigan for electing republicans...

that makes the most sense to me... :)

Y’all just got our rain. Texas sent it up to you because we couldn’t take another inch. It’s time down here for what we call “the dog days of summer”. I think that is an insult to dogs because my dogs like air conditioning as much as I do.

Enjoy! ; )

We’re 20 inches above normal in Oklahoma City. We’re 4 inches above normal for a whole year and we’re only in July. They’re saying fall and winter are going to be equally wet.

No rain in California and a bumper crop in the rest of the nation especially in dry areas which is helping refill aquifers and reservoirs. California really needs to get the message I believe God is sending to her!
