Paul McCartney had a song in the mid 1970s called "Listen to What The Man Said."

That was a pretty good song. Wasn't it? Especially the saxophone part.

That was from his band `Wings’ and Linda. (Venus album?)
Former Beatles were attracted to women who couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket./
Having said that, I still own and enjoy Wings `Ram’ (On). I play it on my ukulele.
Remember `Admiral Halsey’ `Uncle Albert’ and all the other happy, sappy English music hall songs?

Sorry....didn’t like it. I think all the weed McCartney did finally got to his creative abilities...like it did to most of the best songwriters of the sixties...Dylan included.

“Band on the Run” (Red Square in 2003)

A superb McCartney rocker...with a nice lyric twist in last verse.

This backing group was far more talented than Beatles in terms of musicianship and technical abilities.

Not a McCartney fan, but “Coming Up” is a great song.
