WEDC as a program claims, for FY2012-2013, something around 5,800 jobs. The rabid dems seem to agree on that number.
Statewide, unrelated to WEDC, there were are 13,600 layoffs reported.
Also unrelated to WEDC (except for the above mentioned 5,800 jobs) the state added somewhere around 100,000 jobs in the same timeframe.
You (or your democrat sources) are the ones trying to link WEDC numbers to overall layoff numbers, while ignoring overall growth numbers.
And that is what I call a rabid dem talking point. Usually divorced from the truth. Usually distorted to beyond the point of recognition or sanity.
The only jobs that can be attributed to WEDC payouts are around 7,200. The same companies that received the payouts have outsourced over 15,000 jobs.
Walker promised 250,000 jobs during his campaign. Overall, there have been about half that, including the 7,200 under WEDC.
