If you had renewed in January, for one year, your membership would have been extended until the following October.

That is NOT dishonest. You would receive one year’s membership upon paying for one year’s membership.

I receive the same mailings, and they do NOT tell you that you “need” to renew your membership. They offer you incentives to renew/extend your membership.

I received several and the last one indicated that it was time to renew my membership. That's what I thought was dishonest.

I am in the habit of paying my bills when they arrive. This one was 8 months early.
