Why would anyone want to vacation in a country run by muslims?
That is my question as well.
Because Tunisia (and I have been) is a beautiful country, with friendly people. Until March it was also one of the safe ME/NA countries. Most Muslims are not terrorists, extremists, nutcases or full of hate.
