" Do you really think every lawn mowing job has been “stolen” from an American? Do you think every hotel maid job has been stolen from Americans? Do you really think every janitorial job has been stolen from an American? Or vegetable picking?

Do you want any of these jobs? Do you know anyone who does? "

**ahem** Actually I operate a 4-season lawn care business here in my hometown, and yes, I am trying to grow my business. I'm proud of what I do and my wife supports what I'm doing despite the uh... social pressure.

I even went to school to learn how to do it right, after the mainframe system administrator thing shriveled up.

Just for the record I'm white anglo and part native American, which is typical for this part of the world, and I know other gringos in the same business. So yes, I do have an answer to those questions.

I actually think a lawn care business is a GREAT BUSINESS why would anyone think it is socially unacceptable for a so called gringo to be doing it????? Most folks want just a mow, blow, and go type of job, I wish you much success in your business, I have had MANY, MANY, gardeners in the last couple of years they ALL start out GREAT then just don’t give a damn and do a half assed job!!!! If you show passion for your customers property you WILL be VERY successful!!!!!
