Ownership is no problem and I think it’s every person’s right in the USA. I do however, hate the fact the guns (ahem OWNERS) have to be ‘registered.’

Yep. - I was raised by a father who had been an infantryman in WWII; had been in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy & Germany. When Truman (the U.S.) dropped the atomic bomb, he was still in the Army, looking at a possibly one-way trip to Japan. - I was raised with guns & “registration” was a foreign concept.
