I'll never show it on the outside, but inside I'm gutted. I have never had less optimism for the future of this country.
To the point where I feel like tuning out. I know some people who pay no attention to politics or the news. They are otherwise intelligent people, and seem much happier.

I haven’t watched any news since Obama was elected the first time. The country was finished. The US elected a skinny version of AL Sharpton to be President.
It’s just the downward spiral and death throes that we’re witnessing now and it’s not pretty.
