” I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace,”
If you were capable of that you wouldn’t be preggers with your second illegitimate kid.
My full sympathies to Sarah and Todd Palin. Talk about a cross to bear.
Saying all that does NOT excuse immoral behavior. It only points out ours.
You sneaky little Cookie Monster! ;-)
The child is not a cross to bear. He/she is a gift to be treasured.
AMEN to your post 142.
Agreed.
Reality show and book deal on the way.
“If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice”
Thank you.
You don't get to do that. You can't 'leave me to His judgment'. You have no say in the matter.
The POINT of righteous criticism is to help someone change. It is not to punish them. That is not our job. She already admits her wrong.
Bullshit. This is her statement:
wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant. ... I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripps and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy. My little family always has, and always will come first. Tripp, this new baby, and I will all be fine, because God is merciful. She does NOT acknowledge that she is wrong. She, instead, tells us she wants no lectures, and that she wants privacy. The closest she comes to even mentioning this MIGHT be wrong is when she says it will be a disappointment to some people.
She's unrepentant.
So we shall rightously criticize her until she *does* want to change.
And of course, that make Sarah a bad-mom-and-accomplice...< /sarc >
“The child is not a cross to bear.”
Tell that to Sarah Palin right now.
And someone should righteously criticize you for your self-righteous harshness and cruelty. But I am tired of it.
As for leaving you to His judgment: I have no say, but neither do you. We are ALL left to His judgment. If you don’t believe that then you are only a pretend Christian. When I say “I will leave you to His judgment” it is a passive statement that acknowledges the truth that we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. He is Lord of the Universe and there is no escaping His judgment for anyone. I do not ACTIVELY leave you It just meant I am leaving the discussion but He still rules over both of us. He will judge Bristol, you and me.
I dunno, I must be old fashioned. When I see a chick with kids with multiple fathers my opinion of her immediately drops a whole heck of a lot.
But, I guess it's completely an acceptable way of life now. It looks like a difficult path, from my perspective. Especially for the children.
I have had the joy of being a family member to 6 such births. Sarah will love Bristol and her children very much.
Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward
Isn't boastfulness one of the seventeen deadly sins?
;^)
#23 Or “Hi nice to hear from you. Please come on up to Alaska and we can go hunting together....”
She will bag a Lazamataz : )
See? You get a Greyhound ticket to hell if you don't fawn over Bristol for getting pregnant the second time. Nope.
"Bullshit. This is her statement:

And if she doesn't, she'll likely end up with a third fatherless child. Well, I'm not going to pretend that the absence of a father in the lives of children is negligible.
Bristol's conduct is actually pretty funny. Having fights with people on Facebook, making a grand announcement of pregnancy, and demanding her privacy.
No, it's a passive-aggressive statement.
