Thanks. One article I read somewhere seemed to think that the only two that would be left standing would be Humana and UHC. I know UHC/UBH - which is the mental health carve out and under the big umbrella of Optum has a new president who used to head up AARP. A couple of years ago individuals who had secondary coverage through AARP and primary coverage through UHC were all switched to UBH as far as payment of mental health claims went. Never belonged to AARP and have always discouraged everyone I know from joining. AAA offers lots of benefits and overall is better than AARP IMO plus AAA didn’t support Obamacare.

Cigna has taken over Great West but somehow I can’t see Aetna joining with anyone. All BC plans of every state are different and most have different networks - as far as mental health is concerned. That is the only benefits I concern myself with any more because all my clients are mental health providers.

I’ll just say that Cigna and Humana are for sale, I worked for UHC back in the 90’s and for Humana in 2012-2014...
