What they weren’t expecting, and hadn’t planned for, was Nikki Haley and Republicans leading the charge on the specific issue of removing the flag from the grounds of the state Capitol.

Doing that cooked off a Progressive freakout and frenzied attempts to try to get around the flank that Haley and the GOP had established.

Since there was never a civil war, which was not about states rights but about slavery, there was no emancipation proclamation and there were no slaves to be freed and thus there is no white privilege to be repented of and no reparations are in order.
