We are pretty well done with ANY “GM” “Product and “FIAT/Chrysler is OUT the question. She is looking at Honda, Toyota or Maxda(used).
My strategy with used cars is to buy cheap and have a backup. So I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan and a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a backup. The Infiniti was a really good choice.
Don’t buy a Jeep. Ever. Maybe a Wagoneer. I needed it to get up the mountain when it snows.
If you buy an Explorer (2000-2005), make sure it has a salvage title. It means the horrible transmission has been replaced.
