Sure! I do not get what people see in these things. I like period movies, comedies, dramas, some action, some rom com, love good dialogue and new plots. But fantasy... No way. No Star Wars, No Lord of the Rings. I did see / read a few of the Harry Potters, and enjoyed them but never would ever want to see them again. Ever.
DITTO! I am surrounded by a family of sci-fi, fantasy fans. They are continuously trying to convince me to watch this movie or that. Oh, and time travel movies. NO!
I end up in my bedroom watching old black and white movies while they take over the living room with what I consider “junk”. Any movie that depends on special effects does NOT interest me.
Then there are the Zombie movies and TV shows. oy!
