The man has was fooled into supporting the myth of the "assault weapon". Remember, there is no such thing; it is a creation of the left so they could ban guns based on cosmetic appearances. My 12 gauge does not currently meet their lame definition of "assault weapon". But should I put a pistol grip on it it would. Your boy was so lame he fell for that, supported the ban and to date has never renounced said support. He also said he supports longer waiting periods which is incredibly lame also as waiting periods have never kept a criminal from getting a gun. They have, however, kept battered women from obtaining a gun for defense before their abusive husbands ultimately killed them.
If I were to be given the opportunity to ask your liberal candidate one question it would be this: In your book "The America We Deserve" you said you supported the Democrats' "assault weapons" ban. Do you still believe there is such a thing as an "assault weapon" and do you still support such a ban? I would hope somewhere along the course of this campaign someone asks him about it. After all, he is pretending to be a conservative so it is a valid question.
