While I have a handful or more favorites, I am curious who my fellow freepers elevate to the top of their list?
My list starts with;
Annie Lennox
Kate Bush
Tracey Thorn (Everything but the Girl)
And oddly enough
Cindi Lauper
There's soo many more.
Dolly Parton is right up there.

As a Yes fan, I wasn’t sure what to expect on Susanna Hoffs cover of “I’ve Seen All Good People,” but it was actually pretty good. It didn’t hurt to have Steve Howe on the guitar for that track.

I was going to say Alison Krause too. Like "Whisky Lullaby" with Brad Paisley. You need to watch the first of the video to really understand what the song is about.

Awesome thread, Zeneta! You hit GOLD with this one. LOL

Michelle definitely much easier on the eyes. I give the nod to Cass because of her range and the richness of her emotional expression that somehow transcended the mere singing.

I told a fried about that video once and he’s a Yes fan. He thought they’d do well to hire her as their lead.
Kind of a stretch.
