“Shocked” at “enduring”

WTH does that mean?

Enduring;

adjective: enduring

continuing or long-lasting.

Shock and Shocked;
verb
past tense: shocked; past participle: shocked

1.cause (someone) to feel surprised and upset.

I’m shocked that Reuters felt compelled to headline their stories with “White man kills......Blacks.....”

I’m Shocked that they avoid pointing out “black man kills.....rapes...etc”

Or

“Islamic convert kills..etc...”

Enduring and Shocked don’t seem to go together.
