There's no reason Brian Williams should return to television. But I suppose if there's any place where he can fit in - and more importantly, where people are far too distracted by their own self-importance to notice that he's fudging the details of his personal experience, it would be MSNBC.
What's one more delusional talking head, anyway, when you're already cornering the market?
SNIP
That is just the thing MSNBC requires to restore their credibility.

Sounds right.
This is simply sending him away to disappear. They have to pay him off, but this is the least viable place they could put him.
He will be doing “Breaking News,” and in reality, there is little breaking news.
2 years from now, “Brian who?”
Proving that Williams has not a shred of self respect...
Are you kidding? He taught Gandhi everything he knew about self respect.
And it is a fine and fitting place for Brian to end up. No more pretenses, make it all up to satisfy your twelve viewers.
...and he was Nehru’s tailor.
I read a related article today by some media critic guru or something who claimed this was a “win-win” situation for all involved. NBC could move on, and now Williams would have the “freedom to design the kind of news show he’s always wanted to do” or some such rot.
Yeah, I’m sure Williams is real happy to be sharing a channel with a bunch of C-listers whose collective ratings were smaller than the flock of sheep he had at the mother station. Yeah...

That’s the same assignment that Shepard Smith has at FOX News.
Lovitz said, "Brian Williams was born to play the pathological liar, Tomny Flanagan. He's a natural!"
That’s the ticket.
Ha!
Bri-Bri, is remarkable. Good for him! At least, his airwave pimps go free, from....any sort of responsibility. The beat goes on
I thought the race pimp, “reverend Al Sharpton” was “the face” AND @$$ of PMSNBC.
I thought it was Dylan Farrow.
And here I thought mental patients in straight jackets were the face of MSNBC..mental patients, Brian Williams..same thing
He’s now officially on the Ann Curry career track. When she was dumped from Today, NBC gave her some grand title like senior global correspondent with promises to feature her in coverage of major stories around the world.
You know the rest. Most of those stories were covered by less-famous and lower-paid correspondents who knew far more about various world regions than Ms Curry. In essence, it was an attempt at a face-saving gesture for both sides. Curry left NBC earlier this year when her contract expired. Williams will assume a similar low-visibility position until his deal with the network comes to an end.
I’m not sure Chris Matthews is ready to relinquish the Drool & Spittle bucket. Does Williams have the phlegm for that role?
Just looked at the picture of him ...
That Freeper was right!
