Updated: Added unedited and actual excerpt of the Examiner article.
According to a Tuesday article in the Moscow Times, a spokesman for Russias Investigative Committee named Vladimir Markin suggested that an international investigation be mounted into some of the various murky details surrounding the U.S. moon landings between 1969 and 1972.
Markin would particularly like to know some of the missing moon rocks went to and why the original footage of the Apollo 11 moon landing was erased.
Markin hastened to add that he is, of course, not suggesting that NASA faked the moon landings and just filmed the events in a studio...

Like, we faked it SIX times? Anyone who would claim that we needed to do that is a bona fide idiot.
Of course it wasn’t faked, they even found Alice Kramden there.
“... we are not the same country we were then.”
1900-1950: harnessing the atom, space travel, etc.
1950-2000: Affirmative Action, Barack Obama, etc.
samtheman: You are insane
Happy you repeated the personal slander? Funny how conservatives turn into liberals on this subject. It's never enough to just produce an opinion based on your understanding of the facts.
No, when it comes to the moon, conservatives turn into foul-mouthed, card-carrying shills, using tag-team abuse and invoking every lowlife tactic from the Leftist agenda.
Because of course that's exactly what the response should be to my pointing out an article where an actual NASA engineer says that the Van Allen Radiation belts are still a major problem. Right?
LOL, yeah, right.
Save your crocodile tears and poisoned kool-aid, shill. You bore me.
Even worse, YOU'RE on it.
And...in those halcyon days of the 1950’s, did any TV viewer really believe that Ralph Kramden was threatening Alice with physical violence? Of course not, he was a harmless blowhard whose wife had him wrapped around her little finger.
Sorta like me....
;^)
My only comment was that anyone who feels that we had to fake it six times is an idiot, and I’ll stand by that. I don’t know anything about samtheman.
Also, there were laser-ranging reflectors which could not have been set up and calibrated remotely.
LOL, you do that - I certainly won't get in your way.
That's pretty good! ;-D
LOL. Even as you’re the prime focus?
What can I say - that's my lot in life.
Speaking of Art B ... was listening to C to C on way to work this early AM. Rich Hoagland was on ... (not a fan) ... saying that none of the guys who actually walked on the moon can remember what it felt like ... they can remember most things but no what they actually did or picked up. One went to a hypnotherapist to see if it would help ... but every time the therapist got close, the guy began talking of something else ... a mind block.
Also the original article in Russian apparently talks about forcing NASA to reveal historically important “cultural artifacts” (not ours) found on the moon ... haven’t read Russian version so maybe someone here has.
