That feeding tube/breathing tube must be uncomfortable.
the current thinking is that skin-to-skin contact is extremely important for bonding, so since day one, xsgrandbaby’s parents have held him in the chair in his room, with his little chest against their bare skin for hours at a time. it has had major therapeutic effects. and yes, the feeding tube is up his nose and he pulls it out every chance he gets! they removed the “pic” line from his foot yesterday, which was a major milestone, that was another source of nutrition but he’s taking more and more breast milk, so they were able to discontinue that.
