Like the lion tears the flesh off of a man
So can a woman who passes herself off as a male
They sang Danny Boy at his funeral and the Lords Prayer
Preacher talking bout Christ betrayed
Its like the earth just opened and swallowed him up
He reached too high, was thrown back to the ground
You know what they say about bein nice to the right people on the way up
Sooner or later you gonna meet them comin down
Well, there aint no goin back
When your foot of pride come down
Aint no goin back

Bob Dylan is the greatest song writer of the last 150 years. He is seriously under appreciated by today’s generation. Though I can’t say I’m surprised. This is one of my favorites. But really, they’re all my favorite.
You lose yourself, you reappear
You suddenly find you got nothing to fear
Alone you stand with nobody near
When a trembling distant voice, unclear
Startles your sleeping ears to hear
That somebody thinks they really found you
A question in your nerves is lit
Yet you know there is no answer fit
To satisfy, insure you not to quit
To keep it in your mind and not forget
That it is not he or she or them or it
That you belong to
