Cats are nice but dogs are awesome!
As an owner of 8 blacks dogs in the past, I can say they are truly wonderful.
Hi dog lover I haven’t seen you in a while.
That’s a great pic of my lab Henry!
Obviously this study never considered the irresistable cuteness of a Black Lab puppy. We adopted a Black Lab...
Well, let them freak! Brindle is an AKC recognized color for a Boxer and although my family always had the fawn coloration, I have seen many handsome brindle Boxers.
YAaaaGggg!!! It’s the chicken of the apocalypse!!!
Sam Elliott as The Stranger: "Darkness warshed over the Dude - darker'n a black steer's tookus on a moonless prairie night. There was no bottom."
I’ve had black dogs and black cats and all colors in between. I just don’t see the problem.
They do and they don’t.
They look black but it’s actually a type pf “reverse brindle”.

:)
The brindle gene in Boxers and “Pits” comes from a common source.
In a stupidly paranoid way, they are right.
:)
There goes the neighborhood.
That is one awesome chicken.
I’ll take the middle ground: a GREY wolf.
Happy now? /sarc
...Or Father Corapi?
We love our black Lab, Miss Belle. She and her nutty companion, a German Shorthaired Pointer, are both getting on in years. I will be a wreck when they go.
Did you know black Labs are the smartest of the 3 varieties?
If people really don’t go for black dogs, the only reason I can think of is all the black hair around the house. To me, it just makes our house more of a home. :-)
We lost our dear black shepherd mix last year. The sweetest, smartest dog ever, his size and color unhinged people. They would move far out of the way when they saw him on the street, even though he never pulled on his lead, barked, or growled at anyone ever.
Black Dog syndrome is real, and I encourage people to take advantage of it. Get a black dog and let people think what they like. People who don’t know your dog will avoid you and your home. What’s not to love?
aka 'Chowbrador'. ;-)
I have one, too. Her name is Rosa.
My dog is half black and half white!
