——Trump is competing for the Bernie Sanders niche of the GOP.——
One of the problems with Trump running is where states primaries are open, he will get a lot crossover dem votes to screw up the GOP primaries...
Imagine Trump getting more votes than Cruz because of that...
Republicans are reckless with money, but even Bush at his worst wasted far less than Barry the Druggie. Obama added $7T to our debt. I don’t believe Trump would have spent responsibly, but it’s hard to imagine he would have wasted even half as much as Barack the First.
I seem to remember similar talk at one time about a fading movie star. :-)
But if he runs, he'll call all the GOP candidates into account for their anti-American positions on Immigration and Trade.
And that could be a winning formula for him. If not, it will certainly cause his rival to sing a different tune.
All good.
Dear MD,
Then WHY were they called ‘The Trump Towers’, huh?
All the time that I had connections with my adopted home town of Stamford, CT, which was in that time a ‘NYC bedroom town’, the towers were referred to, by all the NH&H railroad riders, as ‘The Trump Towers’.
Dear Terry,
There is a building in NYC called Trump Tower.

There are other buildings with Trump Tower in the name, in NYC and others (some planned, never built or completed):

The World Trade Center Towers were never owned or managed by Trump. The World Trade Center Towers were owned by the Port Authority of New York.

Perhaps your connections in CT were all idiots?
Dear MD, Thanks for the information, and all those connections were gladly employed on Wall Street and Madison Avenue. Mind you, this was all in the era of the late ‘60’s, when men were men, women were discovering Cosmopolitan magazine, and queers were silent and in the closet.
