I think Moose had the only breeding pair of haggis outside Scotland, as well as the rare naugas.
He may be imperiled if his location is sniffed out by the golden, his stock of “bitters” may be in jeopardy as well.

This is most disturbing turn of events!
Haggis hunting season is now over, they are currently breeding amongst the heather on the south facing highland slopes.
This golden retriever assault on the highlands could devastate the chances of a good hunt at the end of the year!
This is why I keep a breeding pair in the back yard, because of emergencies such as this. It is the only genetically pure breeding colony of haggis this side of Yorkshire.
They cost a fortune because of all the Bitter they swill through the year, but it is worth the effort to protect the species.
