We never got tunderstorms yesterday. This morning it’s a very pleasant 70 degrees aiming for a high of 85 with plenty of sunshine.
My youngest and her boyfriend came for dinner last night (late Father’s Day visit) and I dropped my middle child safely at JFK so she could take her trip to Colombia. Oldest is still AWOL.
And that’s the morning report, such as it is.
It’s probably still about 76, though the thermometer is at 80 (protected from direct sunlight, wind and cooler temps) and the expected temp is 109. However, they have officially said the “M” word (monsoon) so the temps will be lower by six to 15 degrees and wetter. With lots of rain. For the next two months.
Remember though, our average rainfall is 3” a year! Honest!
I probably walked at least half a mile in Walmart, but the Fitbit didn’t pick up on that. I should have thunked it when I first put it on so it could sync with the computer. Now my entire day is going to be recorded with fewer calories burned and more calories consumed. Stupid gadget.
the sun is up, but ever since Sunday, I dread the days...less sunlight until December...
I’m glad you had a good Father’s Day visit with your daughters. My daughter didn’t invite me to breakfast with the rest of the family to celebrate Dad’s Day for her hubby, so I guess I only count on Mother’s Day, when she isn’t terminally ticked off at me.
