I wouldn’t mind going to vacation bible school too.
I see signs for it at different churches and wonder what it is.
It’s a program for young children, usually about age 5-10. Each of the major Christian publishing companies puts out a program, so there are four or five different choices each year.
You have five days worth of sessions, about 3 hours. Each day’s program includes a Bible lesson, a craft, a game, a snack, and songs. In the past, it was always held during the day, but now I think it’s more common in the evening, because all the adults are working and children are in day care during the day.
Our church’s program is in the morning; we’re fortunate to have enough adult and youth volunteers.
You could always find a vacation Bible school and ask to sit in on the classes for a day. Kinda like a volunteer...you could learn a lot.
