It’s why I have a lot of junk in my junk collection. An ordinary metal hinge, for example, when it is not attached to a door, would make a marvelous “sandwich” for your bracket, and would allow a fine adjustment to the score mark.
But you may not have a metal hinge. I was counting on there being a car in the parking lot, though.
Also from my junk collection, a short piece of pipe that could fit over the metal to be broken. That would give you leverage.
But again, tools. You have to work with what you have, including muscles, tools, and how to improvise for missing components of this list.
Yep. And I no longer have anyone to rely on to fill in the gaps for what I’m lacking so I feel pretty much out of my elephant. :o|
