Kathleen has the right idea: Play in all the fountains you find throughout your life!
I’ve been off line for a few hours.
My head exploded from the squee. That kitty was too dang cute.
It made such a mess, and I have my friend and my godson coming over at one.
I couldn’t let them see it!
Kitty in a top hat. I think I need a squee alert. Thank you!
We’re home. Sally said they seemed positive about her audition. She’ll find out in a couple of weeks if she has a part.
I’ve never hunted haggis, but I’ve eaten it in Edinburgh.
It wasn’t too bad. Or maybe I was looking at the guy at the table next to me.
He was wearing a kilt. :)
I like a bleach-free disinfectant.
Have Anoreth and Bill left, yet? I will pray for their safe journey!
It’s drizzling here.
Anoreth must be happy to be going home to see her mom and get some home cooked meals!
Thanks. No, they’re still here. I don’t think Bill is up at all, yet, but Anoreth is having breakfast with Dog. They went out to a bar last night; she’ll be lucky if Bill’s ready to leave by 2:00.
Sally said she was interviewed by a reporter for the “Charlotte Observer” after her audition. Maybe she’ll make a newspaper article.
Kathleen used the toilet at the spendy private school.
She’s home now, although the meals have been rather hit-or-miss. Whenever Bill rises from the dead and gets himself ready, they’re leaving (by car) for her new post in Seattle. Bill will come home by air.
Silly me. I should have known! LOL!
The bed has been made and now I’m going to try and rid myself of some paperwork that hasn’t been touched in six months, which means I don’t need it.
I gathered all that stuff up so I could really sweep the floors yesterday, and now I have to get rid of it.
I love getting rid of stuff! Bill is up now. Maybe they’ll get going by noon.
DP took the byos to meet with the Envirothon team at a park in Charlotte. They were planning to investigate a creek.
We need several, please.
Oh no!
Doggy will have to fly to visit his grandparents.
Congrats on the new post in Seattle .
Congrats on getting out of Nj!
Safe road trip.
I doubt we’ll be having visits from Dog, unless they move back East. If Anoreth flies hear, Dog will have to board in Seattle.
I’m going to vacuum after they leave ;-).
Haggis are very fast up hill, the front legs are shorter than the rear.
However on the downhill run they have to deploy the high speed summersault tactic.....that’s when you catch them in the nets, no directional control.
:)
Huh. I won’t be getting rid of as much as I thought I would. One of the bars that holds the hanging files in the file cabinet drawer refuses to stay in place. The file is wooden and it’s old, and I don’t know how to fix it. The bottom drawer is the same way, but neither of the bars will fit, so I should probably plan on replacing the whole thing, soon.
What a revoltin’ development that is. Now I have to just look at the mess I made because I have nowhere to put it. The file drawers are ideal of course, because I still have hanging file folders as well as regular folders, so organizing would be a very simple thing!
*sigh* All that energy going to waste today.
I don’t cook much any more, living alone and being on a diet — I mostly use the microwave.
But that’s a wonderful idea! LOL!
As I recall Pat is the one who learned Greek. Calligraphy is very useful for writing in Greek. Also Hebrew, Aramaic, the Brahmic scripts and, of course, Chinese.
Duct tape?
