AH. No wonder the cat was so interested! Thanks!

I dreamed about a disaster with the music at Mass this evening, which I know was because I haven’t learned the psalm yet. Then I dreamed I ate a tomato hornworm. Then I got up!

It stormed again here last night; fortunately, the cats were in.

I had a hankering for a BLT, and I wanted to check out the car wash that’s across the freeway from here, and I wanted to check out Filtrete filters, to see if they were “affordable.”

I headed for the car wash first, and it’s like the one in Vegas that I was going to with Busdaddy. Prices are the same, but here, they have pavilion tents for the drying and detailing. I will go but not yet. Maybe payday. The truck really needs to be cleaned inside and out and I can’t do it in this heat. Otherwise, I’d go down the street to the “quarter car wash,” which is just a bay.

Then I headed for Walmart and got a head of lettuce and saw a guy in produce, stocking vegetables. I asked him where the tomatoes were. He said they were out. I said, “So am I.” I put the lettuce back and walked out the door. I DID price the Filtrete filters, and they were $17 for the size I need.

Anyway, I went across the street to what used to be Albertson’s but is now Haggen’s and found everything I needed, (as I thought I would) and even found the thick sliced bacon at two pounds for $6. One pound would have been $5.

The trip wasn’t a total loss, but now I want a cold beer.

I’ve learned the psalm. Now I’m having a small Pink Drink.

My voice isn’t what it should be, after a week of barking commands at Cub Scouts. “Den 4, Den 4! Pick up, move out! Sense of urgency!”

I just poured a beer, after being outside doe 30 minutes, waiting for the mail.

I’m sorry for your voice. Maybe it will feel better tomorrow.

And tomorrow is the day I will make the BLT, in honor of my dad...he liked them...

I got the little pine tree relocated to the community room, and there is a note on it that says it belongs to the site...so hands off. The people in here will steal any and everything that isn’t chained down or glued in place.

Oh, golly! I just remembered I have to get a tie and tie tack for my youngest grandson who will be 14 in September!

(So many things need my financial attention, I’m feeling overwhelmed.)

And I need to get a new sun shade for the truck. The one that’s in there is three years old and is limp to the point of just covering the dash instead of being stiff enough to meet the top and bottom of the windshield.

(I hate to ramble about this stuff, but believe it or not, “writing” it down helps me to remember. I’m sorry, Ganag.)

Oh, I do the same thing.

Survived the English Mass. The psalm wasn’t great, but it was a crummy arrangement to start with, but the only one I could find for today’s lectionary.
