There is no doubt what Duggar did was inexcusable and a crime. It should have been handled as such. But juvenile records are sealed for a reason so I have to wonder who is responsible for releasing them? Also would it not normally take a court order for such a release? Obviously this is not about protecting children nor was it done in response to legal action. This is about putting a family that the Left believe represents all fundamental Christians in a very bad light. It is about trying to destroy the moral authority of churches and the faithful who speak out against immoral conduct.
You will never convince me that the Progressive Left which pushes for abortion without restriction; which lobbies for graphic sex ed content in primary grades; which supports lowering the age of consent; which is fully allied with the LGBTQWTF juggernaut cares so much about the devastation immoral and criminal sexual conduct has on children.
If you take on the gays, they tend to fight back. The records probably should not have been revealed, but that doesn’t change the fact that it happened and it also doesn’t change the fact that the Duggars chose to fight the political battle. Politics is dirty business. Arkansas politics especially so.

When we were in a lawsuit my sister talked a clerk into letting her see records that had been sealed. She simply acted like she had every right to see them and demanded to see them. So, without a badge or even an ID, she read the record. Any system is only as effective as the chimps who oversee it in practice.
The records were never sealed because in 2006 when the police reports were made Josh was 18 and an adult perp.
Are the liberals out to get them? Yup.
Which makes their seeking of publicity and using that fame to cast stones at liberals and their causes all the more reckless.

If the Duggars wanted the records sealed by a judge, all they would have had to do was go to the District Attorney, and tell him everything they knew about Josh’s fondling of his sisters. And then go into a court and testify all they knew to a judge and ask that the records be sealed.
But the Duggars took no action to seal the records.
How about we make it about putting 3 felons in prison for 20yrs each?
