In a saved image, the 12km bar is about 160 pixels long, giving a resolution of 75m per pixel, ballpark consistent with the stated 42m resolution.

HiRISE has an extensive catalog of images accumulated over more than a few years, now, with a resolution of .3m/pixel . Nothing against MOM, but let's not get carried away.

After maybe 60 years of looking at this sort of thing, i say, “SO WHAT?”

Where once it was hyped as The New Frontier, it’s now evident that it’s a totaal waste of tiome and treasure.
