And does lumping the then-teenage Josh Duggar with adults who spend decades stalking and abusing children, and are unremorseful, really make sense?
How do you know Josh Duggar hasn't abused more children as an adult? Even after he told his parents the first time that he had touched his little sisters, he then did it again. Only then did the parents do something (as pitiful as that was) about it. If someone is touching 5-year-old girls when he is 14 and 15 years old, the odds of him continuing to have the desire to touch 5-year-old girls when he is in his 20s is pretty great.

I don't know that Josh Duggar hasn't abused children as an adult, but I don't know that he has, either. I'm not going to condemn someone for things no is even alleging (more than hypothetically) he has done.
