Shatner has good genetics. He looks and acts MUCH younger than his calendar age.

Love you Captain Kirk, but lose that need for attention.

My father died at age 69, 19 years ago.

I would have loved to have him until 84 and beyond. And I am certain when he knew his premature end was near, he was sad about missing those later years.

So more power to people that fully live in their final years. I applaud them.

Why does God need a Harley Davidson? /paraphrase Kirk

I think he’ll have a great time on the trip. Looks like a very interesting ride he’s gonna be zipping around on. He likes life, hope everything goes well.

From the journals of Captain James Cook, the greatest sailor, navigator, explorer who ever lived:

30 January 1774

“I whose ambition leads me not only farther than any other man has been before me, but as far as I think it possible for man to go, . . .”

Sound familiar? It’s obvious that Captain James T. (Tiberius) Kirk is based on Captain Cook.

From link below:

“In developing a new pilot episode, called “Where No Man Has Gone Before”, series creator Gene Roddenberry changed the captain’s name to “James Kirk” after rejecting other options like Hannibal, Timber, Flagg and Raintree.[23] The name was inspired by Captain James Cook, whose journal entry “ambition leads me ... farther than any other man has been before me” inspired the episode title.”

Dr. Laura has a pink three-wheel Harley. ;o)

I admit, I lust after a three-wheel bike. (I didn’t learn to ride a bicycle until I was an adult and I’m not very good at it! LOL!) So . . . just how wussy is a trike for an adult, eh?

William Shatner has always been a motorcycle enthusiast. I read a story where he visited Harlan Ellison’s house to discuss the script to “City on the Edge of Forever” in 1966 and when Shatner left, he peeled out in Ellison’s driveway on his motorcycle and word has it the tire track mark is still there to this very day.

I believe the proper term is “motorized tricycle” or “Big Wheel.”

Shatner is kinda hefty so he is pushing his luck. BUT I am sure he will have a large support team trailing along and he will stay in nice motels. There will be a van and motor home trailing behind him with support personnel. (my opinion)
