To: T-Bone Texan

Whenever I’m working in the yard I keep a constant lookout for fire ants. I learned that the hard way. Great big blisters appear when I get stung. If I notice it right away I suck and suck and try to get as much poison out as possible. It actually works a little. Except when they bite my feet. I’m not that agile.

I HATE gardening here in TX! I’m also convinced that Amdro, etc. just makes them move to another location. Damn things never really die.

I don’t want you to get bitten. Really. But if you do, I hope someone has a camera nearby.

Not too many positive things about the Northeast. But not having a wide range of creatures trying to kill you is a plus. Of course, half of the indigenous population probably would kill me for $5.00, but their ant hills are easier to ID.
