People who have been slipping and sliding in their private life, and aren’t promptly getting it right with God when they do, love it when they see a scapegoat fall. This appears to be more of the same.
In the meantime the actual love of the Lord, which can more than heal the harm done by this kind of sin and even more, is standing jilted on the side.
For shame!
Frankly, I didn’t/don’t give two shits about the Duggars, but the hypocritical belief system they use to justify their behavior deserves a little daylight.
