This video shows the dramatic moment an attempted murder suspect was tasered and bundled into a police van by 20 officers following a tense stand-off in east London during which he allegedly shouted: 'I am your king.'
Before tasering him and knocking him to the ground, police are shown spraying the man with CS gas - which has no effect.
After firing the taser, they rush to surround the man, who has dropped his weapon, and appear to secure him to a stretcher while he shouts.
Neighbours in the Hackney street, alerted by the noise, rush out of their homes and express concern for the man, demanding to know what has happened.
The video was filmed from a balcony overlooking De Beauvoir Crescent by a neighbour who has asked not to be named. It appears to show the man confronting police with a weapon.
"Three police came running up and then this guy came," he told the Standard. "It looked like he was chasing them, not the other way around.
On the flip side, they managed to take him down w/o killing him.
What is needed for these crazies is a big net you can cast over them. So you can tangle them and bag them this way. I saw this in children cartoons. Maybe it was never done in real life. But just net these berserkers and trundle them into the meat wagon. (paddy wagon)
One or two clowns a year claim to be King Arthur.
Strangely they are very rarely of Anglo/Britannic origin.
But hey, if you can produce a certain well known Sword and are accompanied by a Wizard....the job is yours. :)
Someone just has to write a story where King Arthur does return and he run afoul of the Bobbies.
Runs..runs afoul.
Stupid smertfoan.
Lol.
And a charge of assaulting one particular stone too boot?
