Wrong. Many Christians know something about Bill Gothard's cult, and recognize that the Duggars are not at all normal Christians.

Christianity doesn't teach the avoidance of hand-holding, and I don't know a single Christian woman who says she "regrets" kissing her husband before marriage. What kind of foolishness is that?

Christianity doesn't teach that little girls have to wear skirts even when riding a bike. Or that the females in the family need code words to whisper to the males, so they can drop their eyes and not be tempted by a woman.

The Duggars have always given me a creepy vibe. Now I know why.

Funny...to those who idolize the Duggars, stating facts seems to qualify as "vitriol."

You accused those who aren't fawning over the Duggars of having ruined their lives and their fertility, of selfish endeavors, and of alienating their children.

The question is, why are you so upset over criticism of a TV family that you lash out at anyone who doesn't fawn over them?

Bill Gothard was truly a false teacher and led many astray, however I do not know the extent of the Duggar's involvement in this group to accuse them.

You are begrudging them for teaching their children to only kiss and hold hands with their husbands/wives? Really?

You are also going to begrudge them for teaching their kids to dress modestly? I am not into the dress thing, but would I castigate those who do? By no means!

covetousness and schadenfreude can masquerade as righteous indignation. The pitch and tenor of the attacks leveled on a repentant sinner who seems to have turned his life around tells me that there are strange emotions at work here...

Once again, how can you accuse me of false witness when all I did was speculate? Aren't you guilty of what you are leveling at me?
