Again I say, they should have gone to the police as soon as it was a question, for the sake and safety of the children. I would have, so would you! So snitching is not the question...but who the person snitched to, and why!
If anything, by going to Oprah, there would have been a delay in the legal authorities investigating the situation and thus skepticism by the cops as to the source. If the person had gone to the cops immediately..going to the state police or the state’s attorney general...then the story would have outed sooner. But no, someone wanted the family “swatted” on Oprah(maybe money and an interview for the one who busted the Duggars)leading to possible national embarrassment of the victims as well. At least Oprah had some sense and kept it quiet. After all she was involved in a Girls school in Africa at the time where the person in charge was molesting the girls there...or did you forget that story “Wideasleep!”!
